Las Tabas” or Bones

Material needed for this game: small ball and 8 bones (real or made of plastic).

Rules of the game

“Unos, doses, treses y cuatros”

The small ball it’s called “comodín”.

To start, the player throws the bones to the ground. Then he throws the small ball in the air.

Afterwards he catches with the same hand one of the bones from the ground and immediately the small ball thrown before in the air that is falling, both movements are done almost at the same time.

When he was successful, he passes the bone to his free hand and go on until all eight bones are caught one by one.

Once this first turn is finished, we go to the more difficult phases: “doses” or the “twos” where players must pick up the bones, two by two.

Afterwards we try with the “threes” which mean to catch three at the same time. In “fours”, the player must take four bones twice to finish the game.

Any mistake in collecting the bones or catching the “comodín”, you loose your turn and must go back to the beginning of the game. The first player who completes “the fours” wins.
