FIGeST is the Italian Federation that for decades has been dealing with Traditional Games and Sports (TG&S), memory of our country, a wealth to be supported and valued as a treasure of human and social values, a “place” for meeting, sharing and exchanging experiences between the different generations, as well as a source of individual and collective enrichment.
FIGeST promotes TG&S both in a recreational and in a competitive way, combining culture and sport as a valuable ally in maintaining people physical health.
In its long process of preserving these traditions, FIGeST has worked diligently to obtain the sports recognition from the National Olympic Committee, an official organization that represents the Italian excellence in sports both nationally and internationally.
