Held every 4 years, the TAFISA European Sport for All Games are the only event Europe-wide that brings together delegations from all over the continent in a week-long spectacular festival to demonstrate Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) and new sports. Local communities and citizens participate, discover and try out a variety of sports never seen before. The TAFISA Games are TAFISA’s number one event, a lighthouse of the Global Sport for All Movement, which is also the meeting point of its decision-makers, experts, sportspeople and ambassadors.
The vision of the TAFISA European Sport for All Games is to highlight and celebrate the diversity of movement cultures, sports and physical activities Europe-wide, our mission to:
- Promote Sport for All and physical activity participation
- Safeguard and promote Traditional Sports and Games and therefore World Intangible Heritage
- Highlight and discover New Sports and disciplines that are emerging
- Encourage cooperation between nations
- Provide experience-sharing opportunities
