This sport of very ancient origins (in Egypt 2500 BC) and was even an Olympic sport from 1870 to 1920; there are currently movements of opinion to include it again in the next Olympics.
The competitions are held between teams of eight players of the same weight category. In fact, the categories are determined by the total weight of the eight players ranging from a minimum of Kg. 580 to a maximum of Kg. 720. They can be Male, Female and Mixed
The winner is the first to win two shots out of three.
The playing areas are indoor (on a platform) or outdoor (on the ground).
