Table Soccer

The game of table soccer in its most general and well-known formula is a miniature football game, the aim of the game is to score the opponent’s goal. The toss of the coin precedes the start of the game. The team that wins the toss chooses the field and the specialty with which to start the game and has possession of the ball. The change of field in a single set can be carried out following the formula: sum final goal – 1 (eg match to 6 change to 5) and only in this circumstance or multiple of it. In a multi-set match (eg the best of “three sets”) the field change is made as follows: an entire set with one or more specialties on one side of the pitch and an entire set on the other; in the event of a “beautiful” event, a new draw will be made and the one-set rule will be applied while respecting the various specialty changes. Matches can be played from 5 to 9 goals per set at the discretion of the match procedure. In the event of a tie (4 to 4, 5 to 5, 6 to 6, 7 to 7, 8 to 8) the first one who scores 2 goals on the opponent wins (Double Advantage). At the discretion of the referee is to apply the rule of the Golden goal. For reasons of time, the referee has the right to decide whether to reduce the number of goals for each set. The official number of goals must be respected, under penalty of expulsion from the match. During the match the players can change their playing position only in the following cases: a) During the Time-Out (only the team that requested it), b) After having conceded a goal before resuming the match (only the team who suffered the last goal).
