Poznań University of Physical Education is the oldest sport university in Poland and the third oldest in Europe. It is the only university in the region offering courses with coaches of world sport stars, lecturers with many years of academic experience and young academic teachers. Almost 4 500 students’ study at the University of Physical Education. They are youths who combine their passions with professional development. Here they develop their talents and pursue their dreams.
Currently the University of Physical Education is one of the most often chosen sports universities in Poland which educates PE teachers, sport coaches, physiotherapists, sport’s managers, sport club instructors, nutritionists, personal coaches, and professional dancers/dance teachers.
As the University we have participated in European and global-level sporting events many times as Polish national team (since 2008, Pusan up to Friesland, 2018).
Regularly we are participants/partners in European projects (mainly Erasmus+ Sport) regarding TSG e.g.,
- Recall: Games of the Past – Sports for Today (2014-2015)
- Recreaolimpic (2015-2016)
- European TSG Platform (2017)
- Application to EU for participating in TAFISA Game – Every 4/2 years before TAFISA World/European Games (since 2016 up to today).
