Morra

Popular Italian game of ancient date, played with the hand by two players, each of which proposes to guess the fingers that the other will explain when lowering the right fist, held closed and up. When lowering the fist, each player simultaneously extends his fingers shouting a number from two to ten (instead of ten the player can shout “morra” or “all”). If this number corresponds to the sum of the fingers extended, the one who guessed it scores a point in his favor; if both players guess, the hit is void. The player who reaches the set points first wins. This game is very popular especially in central, southern and insular Italy.
