Romanian Sports Federation for All
It is a non-governmental organization of public utility, a national sports organization recognized and authorized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to coordinate the activity in the field of Sport for All in Romania. This federation carries out its activity based on programs and from its own budgets.
The Romanian Sport for All Federation promotes sport as a social activity of national interest and supports the practice of physical activities by all categories of the population, as a factor for improving health, as a means of social integration, as a factor for the development of human personality, for the integration of values moral, promoting self-discipline and respect for oneself and for others, as a means of learning tolerance and respect – essential elements in the life of a democratic society.
The Romanian Sports for All Federation organizes competitions, contests, in order to promote and cultivate sports for health, education and recreation as an integral part of the way of life.
The Romanian Sports for All Federation is affiliated to the following international organizations:
- International Sport for All Federation (FISpT), from 1992
- The Association For International Sport for All (TAFISA), from 1993
- Balkan Sport For All Association (BSAA), from 2010
- International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA), from 2011.
