Our sport is field archery. Our association shoots a number of rounds which include life-sized three-dimensional animals made from an arrow-resistant material and standard foam bosses with paper faces. These can be round faces or animal faces. We traditionally shoot on a variety of terrains, often in woodland.
For our demonstration event, we aim to have 4-5 animal targets and 4-5 foam targets. These targets will range from 5m to 20m. We will do a small scale scored round with our delegates. Scoring for this round will be a combination of different ways that we score on different rounds. One or two of these targets will also be used for a small scale have a go event available to members of the public in a controlled environment with suitable beginners equipment.
